Through this conference, we aim to:

• cultivate a more dynamic research culture for ELL postgraduates
• provide a platform for ELL and LMS postgraduates to share their research with other members of the research community
• bring together the diverse local and international postgraduates currently studying with ELL and LMS

• provide opportunities for interaction and networking among students and faculty members.

To participate in this conference, you may choose to report on small-scale research projects, such as those done for course assignments, which may or may not have been completed by the time of the conference. Alternatively, for those of you working on longer term dissertations or thesis, you are welcome to present your work in progress. Since some of us are involved in educational contexts, another possible valuable type of presentation could be the sharing of your teaching practice or lesson plans.
